Kind of a wonky way compared to a proper layout application, but anyway here it is: First use a selection tool to make a selection consisting of where you want the text. If so, you can leave the toolbar setting on Shape , otherwise you should change it to Path.
After deciding on whether you want to see the shape or not, drag your shape onto your canvas to draw it. Then, click your Text tool from the palette, and hold it over the edge of your shape. The text cursor should change to a wavy line.
Once you see the wavy line cursor, click your text tool on the shape, and some boilerplate text will be added. You can modify this in the usual way, and easily create a really professional look to your text. As we saw in part 1, if you click on the center of the shape with the Text tool, instead of the edge, then your text will fill the shape. You can use a number of tools, but the easiest is probably the Pen tool.
Draw the shape you want to create on your canvas, using the anchor points to modify the curve radius. Then with your Text tool selected, you can do a Photoshop word wrap to your custom shape by clicking on the shape, once your text tool cursor has changed to a wavy line. You can see with the custom shape above that the text has appeared upside down. This will commonly happen when you are fitting text to the edges of shapes, but can be easily fixed.
The blue line above represents the path that we drew. You can see that the text is attached to the underside of this path, which is why it is upside down. Once the guides are in place, continue along with your Pen Tool tracing the guides you just created.
This makes it much easier to create a uniform box for your text. Hover over the inside of your path and notice how your text icon changes to a cursor with a circle. Click inside of the path to begin writing text.
Now your text will be confined to the edges of your path and wrap around the edges of your shape. This is one of the best ways to wrap text in Photoshop. You can edit this wrapped text at any time just by clicking on your text with the Text Tool.
The second way you can wrap text in Photoshop is by wrapping it along the edge of a shape. You can wrap text along the edge of a shape using the Shape Tool or by creating your own path. This first method will utilize the shape tool to create a pre-made shape. There are a ton of different shape options within Photoshop that can be used for this. To see all the available shapes, click and hold on the Shape Tool icon. Before you draw the shape, decide whether or not you want the shape to be visible alongside the text.
If you want to see the shape with your text, select the shape option. Below are examples of each to help you decide. Next, grab your Text Tool by pressing T and hover your cursor over the line of your shapes path. Notice how the cursor now has a squiggly line through it. This method is excellent if you already have a specific shape you want to wrap your text to. All you need is some sort of line to get started.

Alan Gilbertson Alan Gilbertson Is this the same thing as to what Pankaj is referring to? Because in that case that is exactly the answer I was looking for. Variations on the same theme. The basic technique is to set up a path that's the shape you need, then put the text in it. The pen tool is what I would use, simply because it's the most flexible, but anything that ends up with a path will work.
Yes we both are on the same track, just to make it more clear and approachable I am adding resources to this answer in case anyone else need that, Silly me i could have done this changes before rather than posting a new answer, Alan I hope you wont mind — Jack.

I urge you to try both Drastically different results. The problem bit is "With Photoshop you must manually create soft returns or indents where needed". Edit a bit and it's a good answer.
