When is delicious shutting down

Yahoo Product Manager Blake Irving has threatened to fire whomever leaked the slide. We continuously evaluate and prioritize our portfolio of products and services, and do plan to shut down some products in the coming months such as Yahoo! Buzz, our Traffic APIs, and others. We will communicate specific plans when appropriate. However, in the onset of the Covid pandemic and MCO introduced by our government, Delicious decided to remain open and delay our closure to allow our customers to enjoy their Delicious favorites for just a while longer while supporting our staff members who may have needed their jobs more than ever during this challenging period.

Now however, it is time for us to say our reluctant goodbyes to all of you. After almost 2 decades of being in the market and serving you, it is time for us to close our doors for good.

On this sad note we wish to convey our sincere gratitude and thanks to all of you, our guests and customers, for supporting us throughout the years and for all the memories that we have created together. Know that every dish we served and everything we did, it was all for you. This is truly sad to see Delicious Group closing down. We visited the restaurant in Bangsar just a few months ago and weeks before the MCO and our boys loved the food.

The Internet was all abuzz on Thursday Dec. Delicious — which launched in as "del. The news left its members in an uproar and caused many to wonder if they should sit tight or immediately switch to another social bookmarking service.

But then in a plot twist today, Delicious said via a blog post that it is, in fact, not closing and is actually just up for sale. The company also apologized to its members for being exposed to media stories that have little answer to what would happen to the fate of the site:.

While we can't answer each of your questions individually, we wanted to address what we can at this stage and we promise to keep you posted as future plans get finalized.
