Everyone has different attitudes towards relatives, but, perhaps, mothers have a significant role for everyone. Look at what you can say about your mom! Without any doubt, my mother is the most important person in my life and the most powerful individual I know. She is very beautiful and has the kindest eyes that I have ever seen. She not only worked hard to ensure that I had a good upbringing, but was also very strict and often punished me whenever I went wrong.

Even though I did not like the punishment then, I now look back and realize that it was meant to lovingly correct me and help me to follow the right path when growing up. My siblings and I have always taken pride in the appearance of our mother, especially her lovely long hair.

I remember whenever my mother came to visit us at school, other pupils would urge us to ask our mother to remove the pins from her hair so they could see the long well-kept hair. Even though I have seen very many beautiful people, very few ladies match the beauty of my mother. One of the reasons that I and my siblings were especially fond of my mother is the way she used to take great care of us, especially when we were ill.

She is a very knowledgeable lady who made a variety of home remedies to help take care of the minor illnesses that we had as children. Her motherly love also extended to the animals on the farm, especially the chickens. My mother would always check on the chickens and give them medicine whenever she determined that they had some ailment.

My siblings and I did not like to see our mother sad and would do just about anything to bring a smile to her face. November 1st, I am thankful for God and Jesus. I put my faith in them, they protect and help me through the happy and the sad in life. I could not imagine a world without them. November 2nd, I am thankful for sweets. I love them. Sweets can make me joyful when I am upset. They make my sweet tooth go at ease.

Especially Lava Cakes. November 3rd, I love my family. They push me to be the best I can be. My family supports me and always cheers me up when I am down. My family cares so much about me and will do anything for me if it is legal. I really couldn't imagine a world without them.

November 4th, I am thankful for my teachers. They might give me a lot of hassle and work to do. Yet they come through by trying to help however they can. Teachers can be funny and kind of cool. November 5th, I am thankful for my character traits. My hard-working trait, my try to be amazing at things trait, my sweet trait, my fashion trait, and my smart trait, and my love trait. But I also am thankful for those who stick around when my bad traits come out like my sassiness, my moody trait, my sensitiveness, my grumpy trait, my angry trait over dumb things, and even my trying to be amazing at things trait because I always try to be perfect.

Thanks, friends, and family for sticking around. Arthur Bozikas has penned a memoir that is heart-breaking and gutsy, as well as being full of hope and gratitude. This book is guaranteed to lift up readers and have them believing in the resilience and transcendence of the human spirit, making it a must read for years to come.

When reaching adolescence, most teenagers want more freedom, independence and control in their lives. For Arthur, it was the opposite, as he discovered that his lifespan would only last up to adulthood. After becoming an adult, Arthur was waiting for his death. It was at the eleventh hour, at the age of twenty-one, when Arthur was introduced to a miracle treatment, but only after the damage of iron overload from all the blood transfusion was done to his body.

Grateful to be given a chance to survive for a few more years, Arthur decided to do something with his life; to get married, buy a house and also to have children, knowing he had no prospect of any future for himself. At the age of sixty, Arthur and his wife Helen celebrated their thirty-five-year marriage anniversary. Recently we caught up with Bozikas so we could learn more about this amazing human and very talented writer. Why was you story Iron Boy one that you felt you needed to share with the world?

I promised myself if I made it to the age of 40 years old, I would put it all down in writing. I didn't know it will take me another twenty years to do it? When reading Iron Boy, the book struck me as a story on struggle, but more so about survival and endurance. How has that challenges you faced growing up helped shape you as an individual today especially as it pertains to business and entrepreneurship?

This is the first of its kind worldwide, from the prospective of a patients' point of view and not from a specialist or doctor. I wish I had something like Iron Boy when I was young and very afraid of my prospects!

As a professional CEO for over twenty years, the challenges in business is that you need to equip yourself with the right information or you are dead in the water! People with my condition now do have my book to prepare for the future because there is one and it's up to the individual to believe!

Being married for 35 years is a huge accomplishment, what is the secret to your success that you can share with younger couples looking to hopefully have the same success in their marriages? I think if both couples feel like they can't wait to share a new idea with one another or are not prepared to go anywhere without their partner by their side, then this is the only secret that any younger couples must desire for a successful marriage!

These two examples will resolve all arguments that every couples get into a marriage too or later! From a life lesson perspective what are some of the key points that you hope others can take away from your story 'Iron Boy' and even more so what is something that you hope you leave behind to your children that you hope they can apply to their own lives? My children have been raised to see the person, and not the disability, that they have.

I would like for a life lesson that the world can refer to us as "people first" regardless the disability one has. People with a disability and not disabled people…always put "people" first.

See the person and not the disability! How do you feel now? How is life after the 'miracle' treatment and is there any message that you would like to share with others who are struggling with the same challenges that you faced but that you are also facing here today? I feel very grateful and life is wonderful for me and my family. Although health issue will continue to always be a big issue for me, I will deal with them each one at a time. The important thing is that young people worldwide with my condition can inspire others to do great things would something I would love to inspire!

Aging can make getting around much harder. Make sure your parents are safe in their own home by following these tips. There is going to come a time when your parents need a little help to safely live in their home. This is just an inevitable part of life. The goal is to keep your parents as comfortable as possible while also knowing that they will be safe when alone.

My mum is funny too — she jokes around. And she also scolds me. She has faced lots of struggles, yet she is always positive. If only I could inherit even half of her positivity, her attitude, that would be a great achievement for me. I love my mum unconditionally and I want her to be happy forever. For me my mother symbolises goddesses Durga, Laxmi and Saraswoti.

She is of great significance for me and my family. She is the embodiment of love and care. She always stands for the family, sacrificing her needs and desires.

Her way of smiling, love, care, and the way she showers all her affection lure me and my siblings. All her characteristics are no doubt appreciated by everyone in the family. I prefer to get name and fame like her because she is a singer too.

I like the way she deals and tackles any problem. Her way of handling any problem is magical. And she makes us burst into laughter with her humour. My family is a cheerful and happy family only because of my mother. The best feature that I wish to inherit from my mother is her ability to forgive others and provide unconditional support and care despite being misunderstood, not being appreciated and often being verbally abused.

Mothers are often taken for granted despite their hard work and dedication. And I wish to learn from my mother her Himalayan tolerance to several of our regular failures to even meet her minimal expectations in life. In spite of hard challenges in life, I would like to learn to still laugh and enjoy life like her as if nothing impacts her even while facing the greatest adversaries in life. I pray to almighty to provide me the ability to withstand and absorb pain of life like my mother; and still be able to extend my support for helping others; as she has done all her life.

I have inherited most of the physical traits of my mother. But I am not as patient as my mother is, and I wish to develop this quality. My mother is very humble and generous, and handles any difficult problem with ease. And I also want to develop those qualities. My mother taught me to speak politely with people, and she used to do the same. I used to follow such behaviour forcefully in the initial stage, which at present has become my normal habit. Consequently I can easily adjust and make friendship with many people and strangers as well.

I need this quality at work to be a successful employee. The meticulous behaviour that my mother taught me has led me to success.

Mother is a giver of my life. She is a greatest person and my first soul friend. She has accompanied me even before I came into this world.

No one in the world can replace the deep love of my mum for me. She is my role model. She has taught me all the values and norms required to be what I am today.

She is my source of inspiration. And I have inherited many qualities of hers — hard work, patience, humility, kindness, simplicity, perseverance, tolerance, forgiveness, understanding, farsightedness et cetera. These values are strong foundation of my life. For everyone, their mother is the best though others may see her as a strict, unkind, selfish and nosy person.

My mother has many best qualities — she is kind and caring, energetic but also extrovert and straight forward. And these are the qualities I would like to inherit from her.

She always takes care of not only us her children but anyone who are in need — I have found many people talking about her kind behaviour and help they have received from her. She has aged, yet she does any work she is capable of doing.

She is strict and that has shaped our path in a brighter side. Though her direct and honest words have made people angry at times, it has helped them in the long run and I respect her honesty. My mother is everything for me. She is the precious gift that god has granted me. For every child, her mother is the best one. For me too, she is my ideal. My mother is a real heroine, because of her strength, courage and bravery.

Though many obstacles were created in her life, she never gave up or lost hope. When my brother was young and sick, my mother visited Kathmandu alone for the first time, to cure his diseases. She proved that women are capable enough to sort out their problems on their own. Among various characteristics of my mother, I want to inherit her bravery and the power to overcome all the obstacles. I share a very strong bondn with my mother.

We are like best friends — we share everything with each other, we give each other advices, we go for shopping. We too have arguments with each other for some time but at the end of the day, we know that we love each other immensely.
